Expert visits and delegation programmes to Norway allows representatives from the international field to come to Norway to experience Norwegian performing arts, and to get to know the field of Norwegian performing arts.

The journeys to visit are supported mainly by Norwegian embassies and consulates, and the schedules for visitors are planned in collaboration between Performing Arts Hub Norway and different festivals or venues in Norway.

Expert visits and delegation programmes to Norway provide opportunities for direct follow-ups to the artists' international promotion work. Specifically, it is about inviting representatives of international festivals and venues to Norway, so that they can see full-length performances and get to know the field of Norwegian performing arts better. This includes Norwegian artists, festivals, and venues, plus the surrounding apparatus.

The programme also includes travel for international media, to get informed of and write about Norwegian performing arts.

Performing Arts Hub Norway collaborates with festivals and venues, artists, and producers in Norway, in making interesting seminars and platforms for the visiting programmes.

Through the Norwegian artists' international promotion, for instance through Norway Now, gatherings for the field and networking, significant interest is raised internationally. At the same time, we know that international schedulers and curators wish to see the performances live prior to entering a collaboration with, or programming Norwegian artists.

Through the visiting programmes, Performing Arts Hub Norway tailors programmes for international experts and media visiting Norway for festivals and performances. All schedules for visits are adjusted for the individual guest. Please contact Performing Arts Hub Norway if you have questions regarding the opportunities of this programmes!
