Expert Visits and Visitor Programmes

Visitor programmes for international experts on performing arts are central to the work we do with our international mobility and promotion events. PAHN collaborates closely with Norwegian festivals and platforms, and regularly invites experts from our extensive international network. This includes international buyers, co-producers, and other relevant partners.

Financial travel support ensures that an international network of professionals gets to experience performing arts from Norway. The funding scheme is financed through close cooperation with the Norwegian embassies and consulates, which have an application-based support scheme for these "expert travels."

PAHN also tailors networking and mingle events to existing arrangements and festivals in Norway, so that our international guests and Norwegian performing arts professionals can establish networks and collaborative opportunities or build on and expand their existing networks.

PAHN also facilitates invitations for international press and other professionals who wish to write about Norwegian performing arts and learn more about the field.

Expert visits are planned in collaboration between PAHN and the various festivals, platforms, and venues.
