Partners and collaborations

PAHN (Performing Arts Hub Norway) has an extensive network of partners, both nationally and internationally, helping to promote performing arts and enhance expertise in the field.

Some of the key partners include

Norwegian Arts Abroad:
PAHN is part of this network of seven arts organisations responsible for international promotion and cultural cooperation. The work is supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture. Members include:

  • Music Norway

  • Office for Contemporary Art (OCA)

  • NORLA (Norwegian Literature Abroad)

  • Norwegian Crafts

  • DOGA (Design and Architecture Norway)

  • Norwegian Film Institute

  • PAHN

The National Library:
PAHN has a long-term collaboration with the National Library, particularly concerning archival work related to Norwegian performing arts. This involves the collection, preservation, digitisation, registration, and dissemination of archival material. The partnership also contributes to capacity building through seminars and conferences on performing arts archives.

Nordics Combined:
This collaboration includes organisations from across the Nordic countries, such as:

  • Circus and Dance Info Finland

  • Swedish Arts Council

  • The Artists’ Committee (Konstnärsnämnden)

  • Agency for Culture and Palaces (Slots- og kulturstyrelsen)

  • Performing Arts Centre Iceland

  • Theatre Info Finland

Together, they work to increase the visibility of Nordic performing arts on international platforms, particularly at industry events in other parts of the world, but also within Europe.
