Performing Arts Hub Norway facilitates international mobility and promotion opportunities through various promotional concepts such as delegation trips to festivals, markets, and international platforms.
Additionally, PAHN actively works on capacity-building initiatives and development opportunities for Norwegian artists, collaborating closely with both national and international organizations. We also offer a range of workshops, seminars, and digital courses tailored for performing artists.

Workshop: How to work internationally.
This fall, in collaboration with the Norwegian Actors' Center, we are offering an intensive crash course for performing artists who wish to have a deeper understanding of how the international performing arts scene operates, with a focus on programming. The course spans 4 days and is led by the renowned Wolfgang Hoffmann from Aurora Nova in Berlin.
Telakka Open Border 2024
Theatre Telakka is organizing a performing arts festival Telakka Open Border that will be held in October 2024 at Tampere, Finland. In each edition, the festival focuses on a certain country and this time it will be Norway. The festival will last for 2-3 days, featuring contemporary theater and dance performances from Norway, with a focus on smaller theaters and collectives such as Telakka itself.
Tanzmesse 2024
internationale tanzmesse nrw invites professional contemporary dance artists, companies, professionals and organisations to submit proposals for the Performance Programme for the edition 2024. The upcoming Tanzmesse will take place 28 – 31 August 2024 in Düsseldorf.

OPEN CALL: ICE HOT OSLO 2024
Ice Hot Nordic Dance Platform is an event presenting both emerging and established names of Nordic contemporary dance and choreography to presenters, programmers and other professionals from all over the world. The next issue will be held in Oslo February 14th – 18th 2024.
NORWAY NOW 2022
ADJUST - RECONNECT - REBUILD // 12th - 17th January 2022
In a global post-pandemic reality, we see the importance of giving a selection of artists the opportunity to present their work to relevant partners, and we have therefore decided to travel with a smaller delegation to New York in January 2022.
The main focus this year is to facilitate long-term relationship-building where artist meet and network with the North American market. The title Adjust – Reconnect – Rebuild therefore provides guidance for our work in 2022.
In collaboration with our American partner Lisa Reynolds and Brian Rogers in The Chocolate Factory, Danse- og teatersentrum is now looking for Norwegian performing artists / companies who want to invest time and resources in establishing and / or continuing collaborative projects with North American partners.
Open call: Writing about dance (in the time of Corona)
The new project Dance and Performing Arts Criticism in Europe, a collaboration of Czech Dance News and Performing Arts Hub Norway. Between 5th - 8th July 2021 we organize a four-day online seminar for emerging dance critics, which will address the practice of dance criticism, but also the challenges and new ideas appearing during the pandemic.
The workshop will take place between 5th and 8th July 2021. It will contain lectures by experienced dance writers from Czech Republic and Norway, coaching and discussions about the seen performances, the texts and the practice of dance criticism in general. The participants will reflect together what the dance criticism entails today: how to look at dance of different genres and in different formats/media, and how to reflect it in various contexts. They will also discuss new approaches to criticism. Although remaining in their home countries, the participants of the seminar will be able to see selected performances digitally. Based on these viewings, the lectures and discussions, the participants will be invited to produce their own texts – reviews, reports or essays. These texts will be then discussed with the lecturers and within the group. Finally, their texts will be published at the website of Czech Dance News, and their authors will be rewarded accordingly (the fee for text could be between 50 and 150 Euros).
Coaches and lecturers: Anette Therese Pettersen, Petra Dotlačilová and Josef Bartoš, all experienced dance critics of Czech and Norwegian dance scene.
The seminar is for free and open to everybody, previous experience with writing about dance is not required. The language of the seminar is English.

Please send a short description of your work and a motivation essay why you would like to participate via email to petra@tanecniaktuality.cz. You will be informed about the results by 30th June 2021.

NYC / NORWAY NOW 2021 VIRTUAL
Selv om vi er usikre på når det blir mulig å reise igjen - vil vi fortsette å fremme nettverk, relasjoner og utveksling mellom nordamerikansk scenekunstbransje og norske kunstnere. Vårt årlige event Norway Now i New York blir i år erstattet av en serie med digitale møteplasser i januar 2021.

Korea–Nordic Connection 2020
Danse- og teatersentrum søker en professionel scenekunstner (kunstner, produsent, ol.) til Korea-Nordic Connection 2020. Det omfatter nettverksmøter i hhv. København og Helsingør 21.-24. mai 2020 i forbindelse med CLICK Festivalen og i Seoul i oktober 2020. Nettverksprogram i Korea og Danmark for scenekunstner med fokus på kunst og teknologi.
